Those countries that we could not even dream of for a couple of years are now available for visiting, of course, in small groups. And we want to give you the opportunity to see exactly those cradles of civilization that were hidden from us by nine years of conflicts and wars. We are going to Syria!
TOUR PROGRAM
Day 1. Arrival in Beirut, transfer to Damascus, Syria.
Today we have a tour of Damascus, this ancient city, mosques and temples, streets and lanes, and of course the old bazaars and markets to enjoy the tastes and sounds of the East.
Day 2. Busra, Syria.
Today we are going to Busrawhere we will visit the most majestic amphitheater in the world. In the evening we will return to Damascus.
Day 3. Mallola.
We move to Mallola, the only village that still speaks Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ. We move to Homs, where we will visit the Krak des Chevaliers fortress (UNESCO site). We leave for Al-Mistaya to visit the monastery of St. George and spend the night there.
Day 4. Hama, Syria.
We leave for the city of Apamea, which is an ancient Greek and Roman city and includes many magnificent monuments and a great colonnade. At the end we will arrive at the hotel in Aleppo and spend the night there.
Day 5. Aleppo, Hama, Homs.
Today, a tour of ancient Aleppo, excellent shopping in souvenir shops and the old bazaar, we will visit a soap factory and spend an Arabic evening in one of the local restaurants. Then we will drive to Hama to see the water wheels and Azem Palace and taste the amazing gastronomy of this place.
Next, we will drive to Homs city to visit the Church of the Belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Khalid Ibn Walid Mosque and spend the night there.
Day 6. Palmyra, Monastery of Saint Moses of Abyssinia.
Breakfast and departure to one of the richest cities of late antiquity, located in one of the oases of the Syrian desert, between Damascus and the Euphrates - Palmyra. Next, we will head to Al Nabek to visit the monastery of St. Moses of Abyssinia, the main temple of the monastery complex, where there are valuable frescoes dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries;
Day 7. Damascus
After breakfast, we will drive to the Deir Atiyah area to visit the museum, which houses artifacts from the Stone Age to the 20th century. After, we will return to Damascus for shopping and free time in the city.
Day 8. Departure
Some free time and departure to Beirut airport.

Supplement for single occupancy — 350 USD
The cost of the tour Expedition to Syria "Cradle of History and Archeology" includes:
- transfer from/to the airport;
- transfer to all places according to the route, comfortable transport with an experienced local driver;
- accommodation in hotels along the route of the tour;
