Tour to Iran. Part 3: Shiraz, Persepolis and visas to Iran

Many people associate Iran with war, Islamic prohibitions and devastation. However, to form an opinion about the country, it is worth purchasing our tour to Iran for May holidays and see everything with my own eyes. Tour to Iran. Part 3: Shiraz, Persepolis and visas to Iran
Shiraz is a large city in southwestern Iran, located at the foot of the mountains, which makes its climate mild and suitable for growing wine. There are no vineyards since the revolution of 1979, but the city still remains the birthplace of the drink of the same name, flowers and poets.
City Shiraz is a must for any classic Iran tour. There is an airport here, so very often tourists arrive in the city in the evening, and in the morning they begin to explore the city and sights.
- The Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque is a beautiful complex that combines bright stained-glass windows with expertly painted walls and traditional architecture. It is best to come here in the early morning, with the rays of dawn.
- Karim Khan Fortress is an 18th century building with an area of 4,000 square meters. The inside of the room is decorated with gold paintings. One of the towers of the fortress tilted, which is associated with the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
- The Vakil complex - a mosque and a market, are located next to the fortress. Local souvenirs and goods can be purchased at the market.
- The tombs of the poets Hafezia and Saadi are beautiful complexes with a park area. For the Iranians, these poets are as revered as Taras Shevchenko is for us. Their tombs are richly decorated and cause great aesthetic pleasure.
Other sights of the city worth seeing are the Eram Garden, the Ghavam Orange Garden, the Koran Gate and the Shah Cherag Temple.



Located just 50 km from the city Persepolis - the ancient capital of the Persian Empire, the same city that Alexander the Great captured in 330 BC. The city occupies a large territory, and it takes several hours to explore it. It leaves a lasting impression on tourists!
There is also a royal tomb nearby. Nakshe-Rustam, former capital Achaemenid Pasargadae and the tomb of Cyrus the Great. All these sights can be seen during an excursion to Persepolis from Shiraz or on the way to Yazd.



About visas to Iran
We provide full visa support to our tourists. To obtain a visa for our tours, it is enough to fill out a short questionnaire, provide a photo and a scan / photo of the passport. Within a week, an authorization will come from Iran, which is actually an entry permit. After that, it remains only to come with her to the embassy, pay a fee of 60 euros and get a visa.
A visa to Iran under the new rules is not glued to the passport, but is issued on a special form. Therefore, you do not have to worry about future visa applications for the United States or other countries. Iranians are very loyal to tourists, so they are happy to issue visas to everyone.
