Breakfast in the hotel.

We invite you to sightseeing tour of Belgrade. Atmospheric and hospitable Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe. It stands at the crossroads of ancient trade routes, at the intersection of two rivers: the Danube and the Sava. Belgrade is always glad to tourists: walking along the embankments, relaxing on the beaches, getting acquainted with the original Serbian culture, you feel not at a party, but at home. During the tour we will see the Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan Park, the main pedestrian street of Prince Michael, the House of Princess Ljubica, the Belgrade City Hall and other sights of the city, which everyone calls the “Gateway to the Balkans”.

We offer you to continue your acquaintance with Belgrade by visiting optional excursions:
  • "Old Town Zemun" (20 euros for adults / 15 euros for children) - part of Belgrade on the right bank of the Danube River. Zemun was an independent city in the past. For quite a long time it was the border point of Austria-Hungary, in the direction from east to west, which affected its architecture. For such a small town, there are plenty of attractions here: the House of Aviation with a statue of Icarus, the city park, the monastery of St. Archangel Gabriel, the church of St. Roch, the pedestrian street of the Lord, the Franciscan Monastery, the House with a sundial, the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Ichkov House, the Great Square, House of the Karamata family, St. Nicholas Church, Janko Sibinyanin Tower…
  • Boat trip on the Danube (15 euros for adults / 10 euros for children). How better to see all the beauty of the city, if not from the ship that goes along the Danube? On the one hand, a new city built after the Second World War, on the other, the ancient district of Zemun, which was once a separate city. We will see the majestic walls of the Belgrade Fortress from the most beautiful panorama of the city.
  • "Underground secrets of the Belgrade fortress» (30 euros for adults / 20 euros for children). First, we will descend into an underground bunker built by the Yugoslav People's Army in a strategic location, with holes for cannons and counterweights, and all the necessary accessories for a random attack, including water tanks made of an unusual material. Next stop - Roman well - a mysterious building buried in the rocky ground three centuries ago. The Roman well is also called the "navel of the world" and was believed to be the place from where the mythical hero Orpheus descended to the underworld. Further - the descent into the underground lagum of the Great Powder Store, where there are Roman stone monuments, steles, sarcophagi and altars, which were collected and brought from many places in Belgrade, Kosmaj and Kostolets for many years. Then we head to the underground lagum, which is a winery, where you will be treated to wine and a respite from the underground Belgrade adventure. Transfer to a transit hotel. Settlement. Overnight stay.

Day 3. 06/27/2021

Breakfast in the hotel. Moving to Skopje.

We invite you to sightseeing tour of the city (20 euros for adults / 10 euros for children).
The capital of Macedonia is the place where Mother Teresa was born.
Here were the residences of Byzantine, Bulgarian, Serbian kings and Turkish sultans.
Skopje was burned down during the plague and, like a Phoenix bird, was completely restored. It was occupied by Austro-Hungarian and Bulgarian troops, but again and again freed from uninvited guests.
Twice strong earthquakes almost completely destroyed the city, but as if in a fairy tale, each time the city was reborn from the ruins and became even more attractive to travelers, surprising and sometimes bewildering with a mixture of different styles in urban architecture.
Welcome to the city where Orthodox churches and Muslim mosques coexist in perfect harmony!
We invite you to visit excursion "Matka Canyon" (25 euros + boat ticket 10 euros) is an open-air museum. The very name of the canyon emphasizes that it was here that life originated. The spirit of mysticism and mystery hovers here, and the air is filled with the creative energy of the cosmos. This picturesque canyon was created by the Treska River, which made its way through the mountain range. Treasures hidden among the caves are stored here. The most famous of them is the Vrelo Cave, which we will visit by boat. Millions of years of erosion have created this geological marvel, adorned inside with stalactites and stalagmites. Experts believe that the cave may be one of the deepest underwater caves in the world.

Free time in Skopje.
Those interested are invited to take a tour of Ancient city of Ohrid and Lake Ohrid (50 euros for adults / 40 euros for children). Many tourists call Ohrid the beautiful city of Macedonia. For several centuries it was the capital of the ancient Macedonian state. Modern Ohrid is the most popular city on the entire Balkan Peninsula. Its history goes back over 2500 years. A week is not enough to see all its sights. The ancient Greeks called the city, located next to a large lake with crystal clear water, Lychnidos - "the city of light." In the 80s of the last century, it was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Today, many historians and art critics call Ohrid "Slavic Jerusalem" because there are 365 active Orthodox churches on the Macedonian coast of Lake Ohrid. The most famous place not only in the city, but throughout Macedonia is the unique Ohrid Lake. It is famous as the deepest body of water in the Balkans: its depth reaches more than 300 m. Beautiful views of the lake from Ohrid fascinate many travelers.
