Venezuela - Guyana - Suriname

Start date of the Expedition: November 2, 2024 

• Venezuela: 4 days in the jungle, Angel Falls - the largest waterfall in the world (drop height is almost 1000 meters) with an overnight stay in hammocks overlooking the waterfall;
• Guyana: Georgetown, Kaieteur Falls;
• Suriname: Paramaribo, National Brownsburg Park, Stone Lake.

Tour program

the day before. Departure from Ukraine to Caracas 

Day 1. November 2, 2024. Arrival in Caracas. 

Rest day before the start of the journey to the most beautiful places on our planet.  

Day 2. November 3, 2024. Canaima National Park

Today early in the morning we fly from Caracas to Canaima. Today we will have a canoe trip along the lagoon with a visit to the incredibly beautiful waterfalls (the flight is paid separately) of Canaima Park! In the evening return to the beautiful lodge, dinner and rest.

Day 3. November 4, 2024. Tour to the foot of Angel Falls

In the morning we go by boat towards the Angel Falls. The whole journey takes about 5 hours, along the way we will enjoy the incredible beauty of the jungle, and we will walk part of the route.

Upon arrival at the camp at the foot of Angel after lunch, the whole group will go trekking to Angel itself and we will come so close to it that we can even swim in it!

We spend the night in a simply unreal place, in hammocks at the foot of the highest waterfall on the planet! 

Day 4. November 5, 2024. Return to Canaima

Closer to lunch we return to the lodge. Today is a day of rest and admiring the incredible nature of Venezuela, hummingbirds and parrots fly around, and the river is full of fish. This is Canaima National Park. 

Day 5. November 6, 2024. Free day in Canaima National Park.  

A day of relaxation in the cleanest air of the National Park in incredible nature. The cleanest lake is at our service, hiking and canoeing.   

Day 6. November 7, 2024. Canaima - Georgetown

We return to Caracas, from where on the same day we transit through Panama We fly to Georgetown. 

Day 7. November 8, 2024 Georgetown

Arrival in Georgetown late at night at 1:59. We immediately move to the hotel and relax.

We fly to the Kaieteur waterfall - one of the most inaccessible waterfalls in the world, located in the national park of the same name. Kaieteur National Park occupies the central part of the Guiana Plateau, which is over 2 million years old - it is one of the oldest mountain formations on our planet.

Overnight at Georgetown hotel and rest.

Day 8. November 9, 2024. Paramaribo

A short tour of Georgetown (time permitting), after which we fly from Georgetown to Paramaribo. 

Day 9. November 10, 2024. Paramaribo 

A day to explore the capital of Suriname. Old Dutch architecture, unlike anything else among the colonial heritage of the world. 

Day 10-12. November 11 - 13, 2024. 3 days in the jungle at Anaula Resort

3 full days of living experience in the neighborhood of one of the largest Maroon villages (name of the local tribe). The lodge is located on the most beautiful threshold of the river, where you can always swim, we are waiting for a night river cruise, a trip to the jungle with a local guide and just relaxing with delicious food and drinks)) 

November 13 at lunch - return to Paramaribo.  

Day 13. November 14, 2024. Departure for Europe. 

The cost of the program "Great Journey to the North of South America" for double occupancy - 4100 USD / person
